She’s worth $2.1 billion, has made it into the Forbes 400 countless times, and is thought to be the 20th most powerful woman in the world. Meg Whitman had a variety of impressive jobs before taking the helm at Hewlett-Packard and becoming CEO. Much of her giant fortune comes from her shares in eBay, which she worked for when it was brand new. However, with the idea to shed a lot of their unused or unneeded services, Ginni has managed to rake in some serious profits for 2014. Irene Rosenfeld may have not fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming US president, but she’s still one of the top business women in the world and that certainly can’t be a bad second choice. She’s now head of one of the biggest global food companies in the world, Mondelez, and is one of the highest paid business women in the world. Irene, according to Forbes, the 15th most powerful woman in the world; rising 5 places from her 20th position in 2013. Although the last few years have been difficult for snack food companies, this has done nothing to dampen the lady’s fighting spirit and impressive profits.

The second top business woman in the world and the 13th most powerful woman in the world overall, Indra Nooyi is definitely makes waves as the CEO of PepsiCo. Despite sugary drinks seeing a drop in profits over the years, this tough cookie has managed to keep the business afloat.
